Marketers look to green audiences

The growing commercialisation of green web audiences is apparent in Marketing Green’s first Green Ad Network Ranking. The list highlights nine green networks which are offering advertisers access to active, eco-conscious consumers.

The commercial possibilities were recognised recently with Discovery acquiring top green site Treehugger for $10 million. Key players like Lime, eco social networker Zaadz and the UK’s own Hippy Shopper* are good examples of the type of content this audience is accessing.
