BT Vision launches

The new Digital TV service from BT has finally launched. BT Vision gives 40 Freeview channels, On Demand TV, and a service called “Total Television Control” which basically allows you to watch what you want, when you want.

You’ll need to be a new or existing subscriber to BT Total Broadband as while the digital terrestrial stations are received via aerial the On Demand services are delivered over broadband.

The service costs £90 set-up, which includes a BT Home Hub broadband wireless router. You can also add TV On Demand subscription packages, starting at £9 per month, or simply pay-per-view; from 29p for music videos and films start at £1.99.

The news has been covered extensively online as interest in Broadband TV and HDTV services continues to grow.
