
Nike have put together a great motivational website. You sign up set yourself challenges, see other people’s triumphs, track your progress and see your total distance and average speed. There is also a separate iPod section where you can see the top motivational songs and download your progress to view on your iPod.
The site is easy to use and you can see Nike have made it in response to what customers want ““ for instance, as you make your profile you have to explicitly state if you’d like it to be public or private and there’s an explanation of what both these options will mean.
I hate running but even I have been encouraged to attend one of their evening group runs. The site acts as on an online personal trainer ““ the only problem is, if you fall behind on your training, it is much easier to avoid the site then it is to cancel your gym membership!
